Gwyn Theresa C’Bearing, Niieihiihotii Hisei (“Eagle Woman”), passed away peacefully at her home on November 2, 2025 surrounded by her loved ones after a long illness. She was born on April 29, 1952, in Fort Washakie, Wyoming, to Aloysius C’Bearing and Bernice E. O’Neal-Jenkins. A Vigil Service with a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at Eagle Hall with dinner to follow. A wake will follow at the family home, 1518 Elmwood Drive. The Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church, with interment to follow at Arapaho Catholic Cemetery.
