Roberta Rose Wesaw-Engavo, 84, passed away on August 1, 2019, at her home in Fort Washakie, WY. A wake will be at 7 PM on Monday, August 5, 2019, @ her home, 17825 HWY 287, Fort Washakie, WY. Traditional Indian Services will be at 10 AM on Tuesday, August 6, 2019, @ Rocky Mountain Hall in Fort Washakie, WY. Interment will be at Sacajawea Cemetery with a feast to follow at RMH.

Richard Joseph “Dick” Thunder died Aug. 1, 2019, at the Wind River Rehabilitation and Wellness nursing home in Riverton, Wyo. His Arapaho name was Shining Star, given to him by his aunt Mabel Yellowbear in honor of the Christmas Star. His casket will arrive at Blue Sky Hall in Ethete at 5 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 4. A wake will begin at 7 p.m. with an Episcopalian Litany. Beginning at 10 p.m., he will lie in state overnight at the Church of the Morning Star, located at 317 Ethete Rd. His funeral will begin at 10 a.m., on Monday, Aug. 5, at Blue Sky Hall.
