Rob Jensen, affectionately known as Bubba or Uncle Robo, passed away on May 17, 2025. Cremation has taken place. A family burial on May 24 will lay Rob to rest alongside his mother. WakíyAŋ Aká, Thunder, was never just a man with a name—he was a force of nature, a sacred song, a heartbeat between worlds. Though some knew him by the name John Robert Emrick, he never felt it belonged to him. He shed that name like an old coat and claimed his truth: WakíyAŋ, Thunder, child of the sky beings, keeper of rhythm, and soul of ceremony.
