Donna Anne Shakespeare-Cummings, a well-known Northern Arapaho doll maker and beloved member of the community, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 17, 2025. She was surrounded by her husband, Lloyd, and her sisters, in the comfort of the family home—just as she had wished. A Vigil Service with the Rosary will be held at 7:00 PM on Sunday, April 20, 2025, at Great Plains Hall in Arapahoe. A wake will follow at the Shakespeare residence, 1227 17 Mile Road, Arapahoe. Doris Ann Samuelson was born on June 6, 1925, in Riverton, Wyoming, to Lois (Price) and Forrest Whitlow. She entered into Heaven on Good Friday, April 18, 2025, at the age of 99, passing away peacefully at Wind River Rehabilitation Center with family by her side. A viewing will be held at the United Methodist Church in Riverton at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 26, 2025, followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. A funeral procession and burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
