A crowd estimated at 2500 honored two Riverton women at the annual “Tough Enough to Wear Pink Night” at the Riverton Fairgrounds.

Tammy Sue Lynn and Rhonda Slack both lost battles with cancer in 2024 and they were honored with their families in attendance.

Tammy was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia on September 19, 2024 but lost her fight with the dreaded disease on December 4, 2024 despite a valiant effort by herself and her doctors.

Rhonda Slack who grew up in Meeteetse, but moved to Riverton lost her battle with bile duct cancer on January 11, 2025. She was a well known leather artist and owner of Western Supply on Main Street in Riverton.
