Aspyn Moss was nominated as the RHS student of the week by Annette Benn-Thornton.
I am thrilled to nominate Aspyn Moss for the honor of Riverton High School Student of the Week. Aspyn embodies the qualities we celebrate in our student community: creativity, leadership, academic excellence, and a genuine commitment to the well-being of others. Aspyn is a born leader, naturally inspiring those around her through her resounding energy and enthusiasm. Whether it’s in the classroom or on stage, she leads with a combination of confidence and kindness that makes her a role model for her peers. Aspyn’s commitment to her classmates and family is remarkable. She goes out of her way to support others, whether through a kind word, a smile, a joke, or simply being there when someone needs her. Her sense of humor—truly one of the best I’ve encountered—fosters connections and helps create a positive atmosphere wherever she goes. In short, Aspyn Moss is a shining example of what it means to be a Riverton High School student. It is an honor to know and work with her, and I cannot think of anyone more deserving of this recognition.
School Activities: Drama and Theatre
Special Awards or Honors: All state actress for state drama and a 2023 national speech and debate qualifier
Outside Activities/Hobbies: Watching movies and having a good laugh from time to time.
Student’s Plans After Graduation: I plan to attend LCCC through a theater scholarship
1. What advice do you have for younger students? Giving Teachers apples does nothing. It’s all a hoax.
2. What is your favorite school subject or activity, and why? Advanced Acting is my favorite class. I have never been in a room with such kind hearted, low key weird, but without a doubt talented and creative people in my life. The lessons I have learned through Mrs. Thornton will stick with me forever.
3. Tell us about your favorite artist (author, musician, actor, etc.) and what makes them special? My favorite artist is Quentin Tarantino. He’s a brilliant director whose movies rarely miss. I admire his work greatly.
