Each week, staff at Riverton High School nominate a student who has shown outstanding behavior towards their peers and their academics. At the end of the year, County 10 will present a scholarship of $500 to one of the students nominated! Click here to view all students.
Beau Anderson was nominated as the RHS student of the week by Shandee Andrade.
Ms. Sandee Andrade: Beau is a great student to have in class and consistently demonstrates a strong commitment to his academics. He takes pride in his work and strives to perform his best on every assignment. Beau brings a positive energy to the classroom! His sense of humor and engaging personality make him enjoyable to be around while still remaining focused and respectful. Beyond the classroom, Beau shows leadership through his dedication and effort on the basketball court. He leads by example, balancing academics and athletics while maintaining a positive attitude and strong character.
School Activities: Basketball, Golf, and Baseball
Special Awards or Honors: I’ve lettered in basketball and golf. I’ve been on the honor roll. All-State and All-Conference for baseball.
Outside Activities/Hobbies: I enjoy hunting, fishing, and hanging out with family and friends.
Student’s Plans After Graduation: I plan to play baseball in college.
1. What advice do you have for younger students? Turn your class work in on time. Don’t procrastinate.
2. What is your favorite school subject or activity, and why? Sports because it makes high school more fun, builds friendships, encourages each other to work as a team.
3. Who is your role model? What have you learned from them? My dad. He encourages me to be my best. He leads by example.
4. What makes your school special and why? The atmosphere, friends, activities, different classes for different interests.
