Brody Koch was nominated as the RHS student of the week by Kelli Gard.
Mrs. Gard: Brody is an outstanding student who challenges himself academically by taking high-level courses and consistently earning excellent grades. He is hardworking, dependable, and takes his responsibilities seriously, both inside and outside of the classroom.
I had the opportunity to work closely with Brody last year as part of my culinary competition team, where I saw firsthand his work ethic and ability to be a great teammate. He was willing to put in the extra time and effort necessary to prepare and worked well with the other members of his team.
One of the things I appreciate most about Brody is something I continue to see in my classroom—he works well with everyone. I can put Brody into just about any group and know that he will be kind, respectful, and willing to work with the people around him. He includes others, does his share of the work, and treats his classmates well. Those qualities may not always be the loudest examples of leadership, but I think they are some of the most important.
Brody is also a dedicated member of the swim team, balancing athletics with a challenging academic schedule and his other responsibilities.
Brody is an excellent example of the kind of student we want at RHS. He is academically driven, hardworking, dependable, and genuinely kind to others. He leads through his actions and the way he treats people, and I believe he is very deserving of recognition as Student of the Week.

2. What is your favorite school subject or activity, and why? Biology because I enjoy applying what I learn to the world around me
3. Tell us about your favorite artist (author, musician, actor, etc.) and what makes them special? Isaiah Rashad because he’s a lyrical genius and has a unique style of singing
4. Who is your role model? What have you learned from them? Bea from brawl stars. Quality>quantity
