Cael Arbogast was nominated as the RHS student of the week by Margaret Murray.
Ms. Margaret Murray: Cael is a member of the Riverton High School chapter of the National Honor Society and upholds the ideals of character and service through his willingness to help with service projects. I have also been fortunate to have Cael in my English 1010 class this year. He is a dedicated students who truly cares about learning. In my class, he consistently asks questions and utilizes feedback to hone his writing ability.
Ms. Annette Benn-Thornton: I am thrilled to recommend Cael Arbogast for Student of the Week. Cael stands out not only for his academic excellence and leadership but also for his dedication to creating a positive and inclusive environment at Riverton High School. Cael is an exemplary student with outstanding academic achievements, consistently demonstrating commitment and discipline in all his coursework. He is also a leader in the school’s theatre and vocal music programs, bringing creativity and dedication to each performance. Cael’s passion for the arts enriches our school community, and his talent shines through every role he takes on, whether in a musical ensemble or center stage. What truly distinguishes Cael, however, is his accepting, non-judgmental nature. He has a remarkable ability to make everyone feel seen and valued, and he encourages his peers to embrace their individuality. Cael’s openness and kindness help foster a supportive atmosphere, making our school a more welcoming place for all. His willingness to go above and beyond extends beyond his own responsibilities; he is always ready to lend a hand, support a friend, or motivate others to reach their full potential. Cael’s hard work, creativity, and selfless dedication make him a perfect choice for Student of the Week. I am confident that he will continue to inspire others and make a meaningful impact wherever he goes.

Outside Activities/Hobbies: Serving at church, working part time, CWC Jazz and Concert Band, traveling, and car enthusiast.
Student’s Plans After Graduation: Attend a University and Major in Entrepreneurship, Business, and Minor in Marketing.
1. What advice do you have for younger students? Work hard and be involved. Branch out and try new things. Don’t be afraid to make mistakes. Strive to become the person your younger self would look up to and want to be.
2. Who is your role model? What have you learned from them? My Uncle Allen. He served our country in the Marine Corps. He works hard to provide for his family. He’s taught me how to be an effective leader, an informed, well rounded, and well-spoken individual. He helps me understand my goals and formulate plans on how to achieve success. Even though he doesn’t fully understand all the things I do, he is constantly there cheering me on and supporting me because he knows how hard I’ve worked to get to that point. Plus, he lets me drive his Ford Shelby GT500. So that’s a sweet plus.
3. What makes your school special? Riverton High School is special in which there is something for everyone. Whether you strive to become a disciplined student athlete, an impactful member through service, a culinary wizard, an expressive artist, a spirited cheerleader, a resourceful trades student, an academic weapon, or even part of a statewide dominating performing arts department, there is a place open for you. I guarantee you’ll find support from the community, and they will stand behind you and cheer you on. RHS staff and coaches are willing to help you and want you to succeed, all you have to do is put yourself out there and try something new.
