Each week, staff at Riverton High School nominate a student who has shown outstanding behavior towards their peers and their academics. At the end of the year, County 10 will present a scholarship of $500 to one of the students nominated! Click here to view all students.
Emma Hill was nominated as the RHS student of the week by Maggie Legarda.
Emma never fails to bring a smile to your face. She always has something positive to say, and she is determined to spread some joy to all those around her. She is the current FFA Chapter President and is seeking her State Degree as well as a State Office this year. She is also involved in cheer, student council, CAN, and dance. She has an excellent GPA and often helps struggling students in class. Through FFA, Emma has received the Star Greenhand Award, she has placed at the state level in Creed Speaking, Ag Issues Forum, and Ag Sales.

1. What is your favorite school subject or activity, and why? Forensics. I love learning about the career.
2. Who is your favorite teacher, and why? Mr. Taylor. I learned so much in his class and he encourages me every day.
