Each week, staff at Riverton High School nominate a student who has shown outstanding behavior towards their peers and their academics. At the end of the year, County 10 will present a scholarship of $500 to one of the students nominated! Click here to view all students.
Evan Stockman was nominated as the RHS student of the week by Cortnee Johnston.
Mrs. Cortnee Johnston: Whenever I see Evan in the hallway, he's always friendly and polite to everyone. He participates in student council activities and supports the Wolverines as an RHS cheerleader! Evan has worked at Teton Athletic Club in the past and is currently employed at Smith's. After high school graduation, Evan plans to attend the University of Wyoming to major in Kinesiology as he aspires to become a physical therapist!

1. What advice do you have for younger students? Advice I would give to younger students is to try hard freshman year and every year following, and always keep that GPA up and overall have fun.
2. What is your favorite school subject or activity, and why? My favorite subject is biology because even though it's a lot note taking, it helps explain the world around me and is very intriguing to me.
3. Who is your favorite teacher, and why? My favorite teacher is Mr. McLane and because he's a smart silly guy.
