Student’s Plans After Graduation: I have been accepted to CSU (Colorado State University) and will be going there to major in biology.

Faculty Comments: Ashtin is an exemplary student who consistently goes above and beyond in academics, extracurricular activities, and peer support. Academically, Ashtin stands out for his creativity, diligence, and strong work ethic. As a conscientious learner, Ashtin not only excels in his own studies but also makes a significant impact by supporting fellow students. They are always willing to offer academic assistance to classmates and are quick to provide emotional support to those in need, fostering a positive and inclusive environment within our school. In addition to their academic excellence, Ashtin is actively involved in several extracurricular activities. They are a proud member of the National Honor Society, where they demonstrate leadership and a commitment to community service. Ashtin is also a key contributor to the RHS Speech and Debate Team, showcasing his talent for critical thinking and persuasive communication. Ashtin’s involvement in RHS Theatre and Music further highlights his artistic abilities and passion for creative expression. Ashtin’s dedication, kindness, and diverse talents make them a role model for their peers and a deserving candidate for the Student of the Week recognition. I am confident that Ashtin will continue to excel in his endeavors and will leave a lasting impact on our school community.
1. What advice do you have for younger students? Don’t be afraid to ask teachers questions; teachers are there to help you.
2. Tell us about your favorite artist (author, musician, actor, etc.) and what makes them special? My favorite artist is Adele. I think it’s inspiring that she has built this huge platform in music, while being an incredible mother. She hasn’t released a new album in almost 4 years yet is still one of the top musicians of the world.
3. Who is your favorite teacher, and why? My favorite teacher is Mrs. Thornton because she is so passionate for the arts and has put so much time and dedication to the students in her theatre class, as well as giving a safe environment and a voice for all of her students to speak.
4. Who is your role model? What have you learned from them? My role model is my mom. I think she’s taught me the importance of individuality; even when I was young, she allowed me to have this freedom to explore, and experience who I was.
