Each week, staff at Riverton High School nominate a student who has shown outstanding behavior towards their peers and their academics. At the end of the year, County 10 will present a scholarship of $500 to one of the students nominated! Click here to view all students.
Mallorie Bichel was nominated as the RHS student of the week by Annette Benn-Thornton.
Mrs. Thornton – Mallorie has a work ethic that is second to none. She is in my English Four class and is an exceptional example of a high achieving student both in and out of the classroom. She shows intellectual curiosity, grit, and integrity in her work. She is also respectful, responsible, intelligent, and kind. I can't think of another more worthy candidate for student of the week!
Mrs. Kirkland – Mallorie Bichel's quiet presence is always welcome in my classroom. She runs on an even keel at all times; nothing ruffles this girl's feathers. She works hard on her assignment, producing her best work that showcases her intelligence and understanding of life. Mallorie has been a very important part of the yearbook staff for three years. She can always be counted on to get the job done and done well!

1. What advice do you have for younger students? My advice to younger student’s is don’t turn in homework till the very last second.
2. What is your favorite school subject or activity, and why? My favorite school subject is chemistry, because I enjoy the hands on labs that we do.
3. Who is your favorite teacher, and why? My favorite teacher is Ceira Roberts because you can tell she’s passionate about teaching and loves her students. I love her teaching style, and her class is always fun and enjoyable.
