Mya Noseep was nominated as the RHS student of the week by Annette Benn-Thornton.
Mrs. Annette Benn-Thornton: I am thrilled to nominate Mya Noseep for Student of the Week. Mya is remarkably balancing an impressive 4.0+ GPA this semester while also playing as a powerhouse leader on the soccer field. While her academic drive and involvement in RHS activities are outstanding, it is her character that sets her apart. Mya is an exceptional communicator and public speaker who leads with a natural, easy-going style that makes everyone feel included. She is incredibly responsible and consistently goes out of her way to be kind to everyone she meets. Beyond her achievements, Mya has a fantastic sense of humor; her quick wit consistently lightens the mood in class. Watching her excel as a scholar, athlete, and friend to others with such a positive attitude is a joy. Mya makes RHS a brighter place, and she truly deserves this recognition.

1. What advice do you have for younger students? Join a sport! You will make the best memories and make so many friends.
2. Who is your favorite teacher, and why? Tracey! I’ve had her every semester throughout the last 4 years so we have a special bond, she’s the best!
3. What is your favorite school subject or activity, and why? My favorite school activity is soccer because I get to hang out and compete with my best friends.
4. Who is your role model? What have you learned from them? My role model is 100% my mom. She’s made me a better person and has taught me to treat others with kindness because you never know what somebody is going through.
