Each week, staff at Riverton High School nominate a student who has shown outstanding behavior towards their peers and their academics. At the end of the year, County 10 will present a scholarship of $500 to one of the students nominated! Click here to view all students.
Nicole Heatley was nominated as the RHS student of the week by Tomi Kirkland.
Mrs. Tomi Kirkland: If you want to meet a girl full of grace and grit, find Nicole Heatley. This girl! This girl is beautiful and hard working. She is dedicated to doing well academically, all while dancing several nights a week, having a part-time job and keeping her brother Quayden in line, both at school and home! She is so kind and sweet to him, even making sure he got to dress as Wally for a couple football games because it brought him so much joy! Nicole is an asset to the yearbook and will be greatly missed next year.

Student’s Plans After Graduation: I plan to get my bachelor’s degree in Special Education.
1. What advice do you have for younger students? The advice I have for younger students is to always turn in your work on time.
2. What is your favorite school subject or activity, and why? My favorite school subject is English because I have always had a love for reading and writing.
3. Who is your role model? What have you learned from them? My role model is my mother. My mother has played a huge role in shaping my future. Through her patience and kindness to others, she helped me realize that I want to help kids when I'm older.
4. What makes your school special? My school is special because although it is located in a small town, I have built special relationships with everyone around me.
