Taelyn Leseberg was nominated as the RHS student of the week by Francesca Jones.
Ms. Francesca Jones: I would like to nominate Taelyn Leseberg as our Student of the Week. Although she is quiet in demeanor, she consistently makes a powerful impact through her actions and dedication.
In the classroom, she demonstrates exceptional focus and commitment to her academic work. She completes assignments thoughtfully, participates when appropriate, and consistently performs at a high level. Her strong work ethic and determination set a positive example for her peers.
Beyond academics, she is also an accomplished athlete. She balances the demands of her sport with her studies seamlessly, showing discipline, time management, and perseverance. Her dedication on and off the field and court reflects her commitment to excellence.
Most importantly, she leads by example. Her respectful attitude, kindness toward others, observance of school rules and expectations, and quiet confidence contribute to a positive classroom environment. She does not seek the spotlight, but her steady leadership makes her deserving of this recognition.
School Activities: Basketball, Soccer, and NHS.
Special Awards or Honors: Basketball All Conference, 4x varsity letter for soccer and basketball, 2x varsity golf letter, 2x academic letter.
Outside Activities/Hobbies: Hanging out with friends and family.
Student’s Plans After Graduation: Continue playing basketball at Rocky Mountain college while studying health science and human performance.
1. What advice do you have for younger students? Be involved in all the school activities.
2. What is your favorite school subject or activity, and why? Favorite school activity is basketball because of all the memories you make with your teammates.
3. Who is your role model? What have you learned from them? My mom, she has taught me to work hard because nothing is ever given to you.
4. What makes your school special? All of the teachers.
