Each week, staff at Riverton High School nominate a student who has shown outstanding behavior towards their peers and their academics. At the end of the year, County 10 will present a scholarship of $500 to one of the students nominated! Click here to view all students.

School Activities: Cheer, Track, Student Council, NHS, Choir
Special Awards or Honors: National Honors Society. I earned academic awards the past two years. Last year I was selected for All State Cheer.
Outside Activities/Hobbies: Dance, Hunting, Camping, Art, Youth Group.
Student’s Plans After Graduation: I plan to make the Cheer Team at a college where I will study elementary education.

Faculty Comments: TaiLynne Keyes stands out not just for her academic achievements, but for her remarkable kindness and drive. Whenever a person needs help with a task TaiLynne is the first to offer her help. She is a key member of Student Council and brings pride and light to our school! She is also a spunky little cheerleader doing all kinds of flips and kicks. Her infectious enthusiasm inspires her peers, fostering a supportive environment where everyone feels valued. Whether it’s organizing school activities or volunteering for community service in NHS, TaiLynne consistently goes above and beyond, proving that her dedication extends far beyond her own success. In moments when others hesitate, she steps up, embodying the true spirit of collaboration and compassion.
1. What advice do you have for younger students? GET INVOLVED! School becomes so much more enjoyable when you’re involved in activities and when you have something to look forward to!
2. Who is your favorite teacher, and why? I have my favorite teacher, but there is one who has made a huge impact on me and that would be Mr. Gillette. I have been in his class since I was in 6th grade. He has always made sure to check on me or let me know that I could talk to him about anything. His class gives me some relief in my day, and I always know that I have someone within the school to rely on.
3. Who is your role model? What have you learned from them? My role mode would most definitely be my mom. I have learned absolutely everything from her. She’s always working so hard just so I can do everything and she’s my best friend. I look up to her for everything and she has shown me so many things in life. For her, I am extremely thankful and will always consider her my role model.
