Each week, staff at Riverton High School nominate a student who has shown outstanding behavior towards their peers and their academics. At the end of the year, County 10 will present a scholarship of $500 to one of the students nominated! Click here to view all students.
Teagan Day was nominated as the RHS student of the week by Tomi Kirkland.
Faculty Comments: What a great young man! Teagan Day is such a hard worker both in the classroom and on the family farm. I have enjoyed every interaction I have had with Teagan in my classroom the last three and half years. Teagan is always polite and kind to his peers and teachers. He is the first to volunteer when help is needed. Teagan is an all-around great human!
School Activities: FFA, National Honor Society and Skills USA.
Outside Activities/Hobbies: My hobbies include: working on our family farm, building things and spending time outside.
Student’s Plans After Graduation: After high school, I plan to attend CWC and continue working on our family farm.
1. What is your favorite school subject or activity, and why? Construction is my favorite class, because I enjoy building things and learning useful skills.
2. Who is your favorite teacher, and why? Mr. Coughanour has been my favorite teacher because out of all the teachers, he has helped improve my skills the most. I know that anytime I have a question, he can answer it.
3. Who is your role model? What have you learned from them? My role model is my Grandpa, who has taught me about work ethic as well as many of my practical skills.
