Each week, staff at Riverton High School nominate a student who has shown outstanding behavior towards their peers and their academics. At the end of the year, County 10 will present a scholarship of $500 to one of the students nominated! Click here to view all students.
Victoria Gale was nominated as the RHS student of the week by Kelli Gard.
Ms. Bronwyn Wright: Victoria Gale is a model student, and a natural leader. She is a flier on the cheerleading team, which requires a high degree of bravery and athleticism. She is calm under pressure, and advocates for herself and her needs. She has a great attitude in all that she does and works hard to serve the communities she is involved with. She is also a loving big sister. It is a pleasure to work with her for her senior year.
Mrs. Kelli Gard: I am thrilled to recommend Victoria Gale for Student of the Week. As a senior at RHS, she truly stands out in our school community. Victoria exemplifies what it means to be a great role model. She works diligently in all her classes, demonstrating a strong commitment to her education. Her quiet leadership style is complemented by her genuine compassion and kindness toward everyone she meets, making her a positive influence on her peers. In addition to her academic pursuits, Victoria is actively involved in cheerleading and both indoor and outdoor track. Her leadership shines through in these activities, where she encourages and supports her teammates, fostering a strong sense of camaraderie and teamwork. Overall, Victoria Gale is an exemplary student who embodies the spirit of our school. I wholeheartedly support her nomination for Student of the Week.
Special Awards or Honors: Academic Award, Outstanding CAN member award, 3 years of indoor track lettering, and 2 for outdoor track.
Outside Activities/Hobbies: Working as a CNA, youth group, running in the summer and snowboarding in the winter.
Student’s Plans After Graduation: I plan to attend CWC to finish up my associate’s degree and then transfer to the University of Wyoming to pursue a degree in Speech Pathology.
1. What is your favorite school subject or activity, and why? My favorite activity is the Fellowship of Christian Athletes club that meets every week for lunch. It’s a joy to be a part of and be able to meet with fellow Christian students.
2. Tell us about your favorite artist (author, musician, actor, etc.) and what makes them special? Audrey Hepburn is my favorite actress because she played in classic movies and had a unique view of life.
3. Who is your favorite teacher, and why? Mrs. Gard is my favorite teacher because she is always kind and always positive and is quick to share a smile and a funny joke.
4. Who is your role model? What have you learned from them? Jesus is my role model because he always did the right thing and always loves people unconditionally.
