(Sheridan, WY) – The Riverton High School golf season is underway. Competition for the Wolverines began with a two-day golf invite in Sheridan at Kendrick Golf Course.
The Riverton boys finished 2nd in the 5-team event. Sheridan won overall on their home course with a team score of 613. Riverton was runner-up with a 630. Cheyenne Central, Cheyenne East and Buffalo took 3rd-5th.
Individually, Sheridan’s Gavin Reed won the boys event with a 147. Riverton was paced by John Hull who shot a two-day 154. Caden Kisling tied for 6th with a 157. One stroke behind Caden was Brody Taylor with a 158.
Riverton did not qualify a girls team in the event. Cheyenne Central won overall and CCHS’ Bella Beach won the individual challenge with a 158. Buffalo High School’s Addie Bettinger claimed second with a 163.
