Employees from Riverton’s Expressway Lube at 315 S. Federal Boulevard reported that there was a theft of money, that likely occurred overnight late Sunday or early Monday.
Riverton Police Department officers were dispatched on the report Monday morning at 8:21 a.m. According to a media release, the employee explained that they had shown up to work and “money was missing from the till.”
RPD officer Wesley Romero was able to confirm to County 10 that the alleged theft did indeed occur, but he said, ” it’s currently an active investigation and we are unable to release any further information at this time.”
The amount of money, damage, and if there are any suspects, were not confirmed at this time.
