Election Day is always busy for elected officials, but the Riverton City Council will be busy throughout the evening as well.
The council’s regular Tuesday meeting begins at 7:00 p.m. in Riverton City Hall.
Items for discussion on the agenda include the Habitually Intoxicated Person Ordinance, transfer of a retail liquor license, a new wireless internet program for downtown Riverton, and a quarterly fiscal health report.
Additionally, council members and the Riverton Mayor will introduce Kristen Havens as a new Riverton Police Department Dispatcher. And, details of a helicopter static display that will potentially be added to Riverton’s Veteran’s Park will be discussed.
City Council meetings are open to the public, seating is limited.
