(Riverton, WY) – The Riverton City Council will hold a regular meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 2, in the Council Chambers at Riverton City Hall, 816 N. Federal Blvd.
The agenda includes a retirement recognition for Tim Hugus, followed by citizen recognitions.
The consent agenda includes the Wind River Visitors Council budget, and the regular agenda includes a WRVC Board appointment.
The council will also consider community appointments to the new Paws for the Cause Committee and discuss community service contract award prioritization.
A public hearing will be held before the council considers an animal control ordinance on second reading.
The council will also consider two bids: one for a 2026 pavement slurry seal project and another for a vac truck.
There are two resolutions on the agenda, too: for the BJA FY Rural LE Violent Crime Reduction Initiative and for the COPS Hiring Grant.
Other items on the agenda include:
- Verizon tower lease ground
- fiscal year 2026 financial audit services selection
- fixed based operator recommendation
- executive session
Tuesday’s meeting will be preceded by a 6:45 p.m. Finance Committee meeting in the same location.
