(Riverton, WY) – The Riverton City Council will hold a regular meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 19, in the Council Chambers at Riverton City Hall, 816 N. Federal Blvd.
The agenda for the meeting includes an introduction and oath of office for a police lieutenant.
The council will also hear a presentation from the administrative services department, consider a service agreement between the City of Riverton and PAWS for Life Animal League, and consider an out of city waterline agreement with the Riverton Youth Soccer Association for 441 South Major Avenue.
The council will consider approving three bids on Tuesday: for a loader for the wastewater treatment plant, a one-ton service truck, and an airport self-fuel tank project.
The council will also consider approving two ordinances on second reading, for the Stover Addition Alley Vacation and the Nevin Circle Vacation.
There are two resolutions on the agenda supporting West Main Water Replacement Project funding applications – one for a Wyoming Water Development grant and another for a State Revolving Fund loan.
After hearing a year-end financial report for fiscal year 2025, the council will convene into a closed executive session if needed, then adjourn.
Tuesday’s meeting will be preceded by a 6:45 p.m. Finance Committee meeting in the same location.
Both meetings are open to the public for in-person attendance and will be streamed live on the city’s YouTube channel, where past meeting recordings are stored.
