The agenda is set for the first Riverton City Council meeting of February 2019.
The meeting is open to the public inside Riverton City Hall and begins at 7:00 p.m. Seating is limited.
The council and Mayor Guard will discuss two new airport board appointments, a bid on police vehicles, and a water service agreement.
Additionally, the second reading on an ordinance regarding shipping containers in residential neighborhoods will be discussed, and a public hearing will be held on the sale of 422 East Main Street.
The current lot in question is being used as a parking lot and has no structures. It’s located between 307 Financial Services and Bomber’s Sports Bar. The space was once home to a gas station. A current Riverton business owner appears to be interested in relocating to the space.
All City Council meetings are televised on Riverton local cable channel 191 and are posted a few hours after the meetings on the City’s YouTube channel.
