Rivertons’ mayor Richard Gard along with fellow councilmembers recognize and congratulate members of the Riverton fire department, Fireman Tyler Goff, and Fireman Terry Heard at Tuesday’s City Hall council meeting.
The 2 Riverton firefighters who were extremely involved in assisting with 2 major car accidents over the weekend, still took the time out of their busy days on Sunday to help the community’s Christmas tree aesthetics.
The Christmas tree located in Jason’s Park in Riverton very much matches the beautiful lighting done along main street Riverton. Thanks to the fine men and women of the City’s fire department for fixing the large lit star on top of the Christmas tree so that it was secure.
“The tree lighting of the Christmas tree was a wonderful event put on by the City of Riverton and we thank our local fire department for all their help this holiday season.”
