The Riverton Police Department and Fremont County Coroner are investigating a situation on the Rails-To-Trails bike path Monday afternoon.
Law enforcement activity began around 3:00 p.m. Several RPD vehicles, unmarked law enforcement vehicles, and the Coroner parked along the bike path between East Park and East Jackson Ave.
They investigated a scene just a few yards off of the paved area.
Details were not provided to us on the scene, and attempts to gather more information have gone unanswered thus far. We’ll update this post when we know more.
