(Riverton, WY) – The Riverton Police Department (RPD) is investigating a pursuit involving a stolen ambulance that occurred in the early morning hours of May 18, according to a release shared on the RPD Facebook page.
“Around 2:15 AM this morning officers responded to Sage West hospital after an ambulance was reported stolen,” the release informs. “Officers located and pursued the stolen ambulance through Riverton and the Wind River reservation. During the pursuit the stolen ambulance rammed several law enforcement vehicles.”
“Suspects later fled on foot. This investigation is ongoing. No arrests have been made. No officers were injured in the pursuit. More information will be released this afternoon.”
