The Riverton Police Department is asking for the publics help in identifying who might be responsible for shooting a dog with a pellet gun several times. RPD posted the following message on social media Friday morning;
Riverton PD and Animal Control Officer Shannon Sanderson need your help! On Thursday, December 3, 2020, at approximately 6 pm officers responded to the intersection of Shoshone & Cheyenne Ave for the report of an injured dog. The dog was transported for medical care where it was discovered to have been shot 5 times with a .177 cal pellet gun. Please call 307-856-4891 if you have ANY information regarding this incident!
