(Riverton, Wyo.) – The Riverton School Board meets tonight in regular session with a contract extension for Supt. Terry Snyder one item on the agenda and approval of a contract with Nelson Architects for the Riverton Middle School re-roof project, Phases I and II an other item.
The board will also hear an out-of-state travel request for the Riverton High School Band and Assistant Superintendent JoAnne Flanagan will present the District Report Card.
RHS Principal John Griffith is also requesting that the Board approve three new course proposals at the high school. The courses are Digital Art: Graphic Design and Video Editing; Intro to Textile Construction and Fashion Design; and Computerized Embroidery Manufacturing.
The monthly attendance report indicates the district is down by 25 students this month over last year at this same time. The district’s total enrollment is 2,401 students.
The meeting begins at 7 p.m. at the District’s Central Office Board Room at 121 North Fifth West.
