(Riverton, WY) – The Fremont County School District 25 Board of Trustees will hold a regular meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 27, in the Board Chambers at 121 North Fifth Street West in Riverton.
The agenda includes a trip debrief from Kelli Gard and the FCCLA Capitol Leadership Team and a special services update from Petrina Murfitt and Cortnee Johnston.
The board will also consider an administrative recommendation to approve an out-of-state travel request for Riverton High School band students to go to Denver in April for Music in the Parks.
Other action items on the agenda include:
- an administrative recommendation to adopt Policy 4115 “School Sponsored Field Trips and Activities,” Policy 1190 “Participation at Board Meetings,” and Policy 6137 “Treatment of Head Lice” on first reading
- an administrative recommendation to approve the District Facility Use and Fee Structure
- an administrative recommendation to scrap and replace one bus
- an administrative recommendation to accept $52,775 from the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality to help replace diesel school buses with newer diesel, propane, and/or compressed natural gas school buses
- an administrative recommendation to accept resignations
The board will also receive information about:
- Policy 6100 Revised “Student Activities & Organizations,” Policy 6100-R (1) Revised “Student Activities & Organizations – Proposal and Approval Process,” Policy 2045 Revised “Banking Services, Management of Federal Awards,” and Policy 2025-R “Federal Grant Cost Principles and Allowability”
- classified staff changes
- enrollment
A discussion and review of the board’s self-evaluation process will take place before the board convenes into an executive session for personnel.
