(Riverton, WY) – The Fremont County School District 25 Board of Trustees will hold a regular meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 11, in the Board Chambers at 121 North Fifth Street West in Riverton.
The consent agenda includes the adoption of amended Policy 4140 “Graduation Requirements,” Regulation 4140-R(1) “Graduation Requirements,” and Policy 5110 “District Staff Vacations and Holidays” on second reading.
During the roundtable portion of the meeting, the board will hear from National Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America Vice President of Programs Tessa Kenyon.
Under action items, the board will consider adopting amended Regulation 4134-R “District Staff Supervision and Evaluation” on first reading.
The board will also consider accepting a $8,000 Perkins Career and Technical Education (CTE) Professional Development Grant for 2026-2027.
The agenda indicates that the funds will be used to cover expenses for four CTE teachers to attend the Association for CTE Vision Conference in New Orleans.
Other action items on the agenda include:
- declare 11 bundles of gym floor, nine bundles of boxed and loose wooden bleachers, and one Antique Herring Hall Marvin Safe as surplus and available to the public for a fee, through a bid process, or auction
- accept Corte McGuffey’s resignation as Riverton High School Assistant Football Coach
Information items include the election filing period for school board trustees, which began Aug. 5 and will last through 5 p.m. Aug. 24, according to the agenda.
The board will also review:
- agreements with Wind River Family and Community Health Care and the Central Wyoming Foster Grandparent Program
- an Elementary School Student Handbook Amendment regarding Aspen Dismissal Procedures
- Revised Policy 5095 “District Staff Short-Term Leaves”
- classified staff changes
