(Riverton, WY) – The Fremont County School District 25 Board of Trustees will hold a regular budget meeting at 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 15, in the Board Chambers at 121 North Fifth Street West in Riverton.
The agenda includes a hearing on the 2026-2027 budget and intent to levy mills.
The council will consider taking action to levy mills, authorize the board to request to assess 25 mills, and adopt the budget for the 2026-2027 school year later in the meeting.
Other action items on the agenda include:
- reserve the right to withdraw funds from BOCES
- adopt amended Policy 4140 “Graduation Requirements,” Regulation 4140-R(1) “Graduation Requirements,” and amended Policy 5110 “District Staff Vacations and Holidays” on first reading
- approve inter-district transportation
- award a $2 million contract for professional services to the Amundsen Associates/RB+B Architects Team to perform professional architectural and engineering services for the New Rendezvous Elementary School design project
- accept a $216,300 Title VI Native American Education Grant for the 2026-2027 school year
- accept $237,422 in Impact Aid Tuition for 2025-2026 from Fremont County School District 38
- accept a $2.55 million Consolidated Grant for 2026-2027
- approve a new course proposal (Riverton Aquatic Center – Lifeguarding)
- amend the superintendent’s contract
Tuesday’s meeting is open to the public for in-person attendance and will be streamed live on the district’s YouTube channel, where past meeting recordings are also stored.
