(Riverton, WY) – The Fremont County School District 25 Board of Trustees will hold a regular meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25, in the Board Chambers at 121 North Fifth Street West in Riverton.
The agenda includes a presentation of Rec Board Volunteers of the Year, with the Individual Award going to Lindsey Cox and the Group Award going to the Special Olympics.
The board will also hear from Native American Education and Federal Program Director Roy Brown during the roundtable discussion.
Action items on the agenda include an administrative recommendation to adopt revised Policy 2075 “Inventories and Property Management,” Policy 2085-R “School Property Disposal,” and Policy 5135-R “District Staff Supervision and Evaluation” on first reading.
The board will also consider an administrative recommendation to approve the following new course proposals at Riverton High School:
- Senior Science Capstone
- Health Promotion and Wellness
- Intro to Business
- Technical Writing
- Beginning Choir
- Advanced Choir
- Piano Lab
Under information items, the board will receive a reminder about the superintendent evaluation; notifications of habitually truant, willfully absent, and 10-day drop students; a list of classified staff changes, including resignations, transfers, and new hires; and enrollment numbers.
The board will also discuss the Board of Trustees evaluation tool before adjournment.
Tuesday’s meeting is open to the public for in-person attendance and will be streamed live on the district’s YouTube channel, where past meeting recordings are also stored.
