(Riverton, WY) – Because of some potential unfavorable weather many Wyoming high school sports are shifting soccer games, track meets and baseball/softball games this weekend.
The list of postponements now includes Riverton High School soccer. The Wolverines were to host their “Pink Games” versus Natrona County Friday. The pink theme serves as a fundraiser for two local residents battling cancer diagnosis.’
Per Riverton High School Activities Director Max Mills, Friday’s match-ups are now rescheduled for Tuesday, May 5th at Wolverine Field.
The National Weather Service office in Riverton is projecting likely snowfall Thursday and Friday for much of the state, accompanied by strong winds.
Riverton is scheduled to play at Kelly Walsh Thursday, April 16. Before those May make-up games, Riverton will return home on Saturday, April 25th against Green River.
