County 10 reached out to confirm details about the posted “Store Closing Sale” sign hung on our local Bealls. Stage, an umbrella company has a community of stores that includes Bealls. Stage confirmed a plan to transition Bealls in Riverton to Gordmans in spring 2020. Gordmans also falls under the Stage umbrella of stores.
Stage described Gordmans as, “…an off-price retailer, which means that it has a wide array of merchandise for the entire family at the lowest possible prices compared to department stores.” They will carry home goods, apparel, footwear and more.
Stage also shared, “The Bealls store is planned to close in the days leading up to the Gordmans grand opening in the spring of 2020. The conversion from Bealls to Gordmans takes less than two weeks. All current Bealls associates will be offered jobs at Gordmans. Additional associates also will be hired during a job fair early next year.”
