After nearly two months of remodeling, Taco Bell on North Federal Boulevard in Riverton will be opening their doors bright and early at 6:30 am tomorrow, Friday, December 20th.
You’ve likely noticed changes happening to the building’s interior, exterior, and surrounding area. County 10 received numerous questions from the community about its closing, reopening, and general inquiries, and all we knew was it’s closed for a remodel.
We were invited inside for a sneak peek and to chat with this location’s new General Manager David Munda and District Manager Felix Garcia.
They shared a lot of the lesser-known aspects of Border Foods (owners of Taco Bell) during our visit. Things like offering employees scholarships, providing bonuses, competitive pay, and so much more. One of the things that stood out was during this nearly two-month remodel; all of their employees were paid for that time off. They both explained that’s just how Border Foods takes care of their employees.
David’s excitement to be this newly remodeled location’s new General Manager was evident as we talked. He shared his background and that he isn’t new to the Taco Bell management team but hasn’t been apart of one in over 15 years. However, he stayed in the service industry for those 15 years because he “loves taking care of people.”
Their tour highlighted all of the new exciting additions and upgrades inside and out. One of which was a multilingual ordering kiosk. Not only does it provide ordering options for those who may not speak English, but it also allows for more people to be served and better service, David explained.
