Riverton’s Larry Amundson was presented with the Golden Trowel Award by the Wyoming Archaeological Society as the society’s annual spring meeting in Casper.
Dr. Mavis Greer presented the honor to Amundson in appreciation of his efforts. Amundson has served as a Wyoming Archaelogical Society president and board member, a Fremont County Archaeological Society President, a Friends of the Frison Institute board member, and has volunteered with a number of projects by the Wyoming State Archaeologist Office and the Bureau of Land Management.
The Golden Trowl was also presented with a congratulatory cake.
