UPDATE: Chief Hurtado has shared with County 10 that Tiera C’Bearing was the subject charged in relation to the stabbing.
(Riverton, WY) – An 18-year-old female subject was charged for a reported stabbing incident in Riverton on Sunday, February 8, according to a press release issued by the Riverton Police Department on Monday afternoon.
The release states that “at approximately 10:00 a.m., officers with the Riverton Police Department were dispatched to a location in Riverton for a report of a male who had been stabbed.”
The RPD call log issued on February 9 indicates the reporting call came from a parking lot in the 600 block of W Main Street.
“Upon arrival, officers located a male with several stab wounds to the torso,” the release continues. “Officers provided aid to the male until emergency medical services arrived on scene.”
“During the investigation, officers spoke with witnesses, and the suspect was identified as an 18-year-old female. The suspect was identified, interviewed, and confessed to stabbing the victim. The suspect was taken into custody on charges of aggravated battery.”
The female subject charged was not named in the release. County 10 has reached out to RPD Chief Eric Hurtado, and will provide further updates as they become available.
