(Riverton, WY) – The Riverton Police Department (RPD) issued a release on Wednesday morning, November 12, in response to recent threats that were allegedly made regarding a local Riverton school.
“Earlier this week, the Riverton Police Department was made aware of potential threats involving Rendezvous School,” the RPD release states. “Our officers immediately investigated the matter, and we can confirm that the threats were unfounded.”
“We appreciate the community members who promptly brought these concerns to our attention. Your vigilance helps us respond quickly and maintain the safety of our schools. The Riverton Police Department remains committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of all students, staff, and families in our community.”
The release concludes by reminding folks that “if you see or hear something concerning, please don’t hesitate to reach out; your awareness makes a difference.”
