(Riverton, WY) – The Riverton Police Department is investigating a death that occurred in a Riverton residence on December 15, according to a press lease issued by the RPD on December 16.
“Detectives are investigating the death of a male located inside a residence at the corner of Riverview and South Major Ave. late Sunday evening,” the release states.
The FCSO call log issued on December 16 indicates the reporting call was made at 8:09 PM.
“Officers were dispatched to a call after someone reported a disturbance inside the home,” the release also informs. “Officers arrived to find a male deceased at the scene. Occupants inside the home told officers that a disturbance had occurred and the male was allegedly stabbed.”
Detectives are “currently investigating the incident,” and any additional information “may be released when it becomes available.”
