(Riverton, WY) – The Riverton Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in an apartment in Riverton just after midnight on March 3, according to a release shared on the RPD Facebook page on Tuesday morning.
“Officers responded to a report of a male with a gunshot wound to the head and found an adult male deceased inside the residence,” the release informs.
“There is no threat to the community at this time, and it appears to be an isolated incident. The incident is under active investigation.”
