(Riverton, WY) – The Riverton Police Department (RPD) is investigating a reported shooting incident that occurred in the very early morning hours of May 6, according to a post shared on the RPD Facebook page.
“At 1:08 am this morning, officers from Riverton Police Department responded to 400 block of Oak Lane to investigate reported gun shots into a residence from outside,” the post informs.
“Officers arrived on scene and began the investigation. Several people were interviewed and the investigation is ongoing. There were no reports of injuries.”
No further details were released in the post, but the call log issued by the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office on May 6 states that the reporting party told law enforcement that a “gunshot came through the window and hit their TV.”
