(Riverton, WY) – Riverton Police Department Officer Scott Chrisoffersen is the latest to be featured in County 10’s RPD Spotlight Series.
Scott explained to us that he had a goal to become a police officer at a young age, “My father was in law enforcement, so I grew up seeing that my entire life. Now, he likes to hear all the stories.” And, Officer Christoffersen elaborated that it’s the idea of giving back that made the job so appealing, “That draw of being a help in the community, being able to do what I can to keep the community safe and to do something more than just be around.”
We chat about his time in law enforcement, a heroic life-saving effort he was dispatched to and his hopes for the community going forward.
