Salas Finishes Stellar Season at Women’s Golf Nationals
Isabell Salas of the Central Wyoming College women’s golf team competed at the NJCAA Golf National Championship in Garden City, Kansas, May 12-15. Salas, who finished third in the district playoffs the week before, ended her freshman year by placing 56th out of 92 participants at the championship tournament. She completed the four-day event with a total score of +38 over par, and had her best day of golf in the third round at +6. Salas was the lone Rustler to compete at the women’s Nationals.

Central Wyoming College Men’s Golf Team Faced Off at National Tournament
The Central Wyoming College men’s golf team competed at the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) tournament in Newton, Kansas, May 12-15, with the following results:
- Tyler Ewell: Tied-68th (+19)
- Brodie Dale: Tied-88th (+24)
- Brody Hamby: 103rd (+44)
- Houston Dunn: 104th (+47)
- Brock Owings: 106th (+58)
The Rustlers came into the tournament as the 36th nationally ranked team, but finished 24th by the end of the national tournament.
