My name is Ryan Preston, and I’m proud to call Fremont County home.
I’ve spent my entire career working hard, leading teams, and serving people. I started at just 20 years old managing a small hotel in Nampa, Idaho, and from those early days, I learned what it means to take responsibility, solve problems, and earn trust. Over the years, I worked my way up through the hospitality industry, managing operations across several states before putting down roots right here in Riverton.
Since 2013, I’ve proudly served as the General Manager of the Hampton Inn & Suites in Riverton. In that role, I’ve built strong teams, managed budgets, supported economic growth, and created a welcoming environment for visitors and locals alike. I’ve also served as a Regional Director of Operations, overseeing multiple properties and helping businesses succeed through smart, practical leadership.
But my commitment doesn’t stop at the workplace. I believe deeply in giving back to our community. I’ve had the honor of serving on the Wind River Visitors Council, the Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, the Wyoming Hospitality and Travel Coalition, and several local committees that help strengthen Fremont County. These experiences have given me a clear understanding of the challenges we face and the opportunities ahead.
Fremont County deserves leadership that is steady, experienced, and focused on results. I believe in common-sense decision-making, responsible growth, supporting local businesses, and protecting the values that make our community strong.
I’m running for Fremont County Commissioner because I care about this community and the people who call it home. I’m ready to bring my experience, my work ethic, and my commitment to service to the next level working for you and with you to keep Fremont County moving forward.
