The 40th annual Riverton Rendezvous Hot Air Balloon Rally was a no-go Saturday due to poor flying conditions.
However, the 30 hot air balloons in attendance will have one more shot Sunday morning and according to a local meteorologist at launch field this morning, conditions should be improved.
Pending weather, launch time is expected for 6:00 a.m. from the Central Wyoming College soccer field. The annual hot air balloon glow is also scheduled for Saturday evening at 8:30 p.m. Did we mention, weather pending?
Saturday Rendezvous fun continues all day with the annual Rocky Mountain Rebels Car Show and Autocross competition from CWC.
