12:00 p.m. update: The Wyoming Highway Patrol updated that two occupants in the truck were transported to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
(Rawlins, WY) – The Wyoming Department of Transportation District 1 has advised motorists that a bridge has been struck by a semi-truck Monday morning.
The collision occurred at Exit 214/Higley Blvd on Interstate 80. The bridge has been closed to traffic and will remain closed until a full engineering assessment can be performed.
Interstate 80 remains open both directions to traffic, however those needing to exit at Higley Blvd are being re-routed.
No further information was provided at this time about the crash and condition of truck occupants.
