A semi-truck was involved in an accident Monday morning on South Pass, near mile marker 35, or just south of the Atlantic City cutoff.
South Pass was closed around 10:30 a.m. due to winter conditions. During the time of the accident, a level 2 chain law restriction was in place. High winds and limited visibility may have contributed to the accident.
The accident caused significant damage to a guardrail. Potential injury information was not immediately available from the Wyoming Highway Patrol, we’ll update if we learn more.
