(Fort Washakie, WY) – Dubois seniors Payson Pluhar, Nate Hinkle, and Jonah Witonski were surprised Tuesday evening at Ft. Washakie when they were honored on senior night by the Eagles. Ft. Washakie honored their senior players, then extended it to the visiting Rams.
In the interconference Class 1-A matchup between the Rams from the Northwest 1-A and the Eagles, in their first year of competition in the Southwest 1-A the boys from Ft. Washakie pulled off the upset in a high-scoring 91-89 final.
The gesture by Ft. Washakie included presenting Witonski, Pluhar, and Hinkle Pendelton blankets.
Dubois and Ft. Washakie enter West 1-A Regional Tournament play next week.
